Solid Color, Anti-skid Varieties:

Classic solid color Epoxy Flooring systems are popular in distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, office spaces, research labs, and data centers.  Epoxy is a versatile and cost-effective flooring solution. If the space is exposed to UV, we suggest a polyaspartic color coat and topcoat.

Solid Color, Anti-skid Varieties

We have a number of options to address texture in the finished product. Safety is a concern considered for all of our installations.

A high build epoxy topcoat will leave an orange peel effect.  This allows for a slight dulling of the finish as well as a natural anti-skid effect.  20-25 mils of product on the main color coat of a 2 coat epoxy installation will do the trick.  We have many industrial customers who demand this finish

Polypropelene spheres added to a urethane or polyaspartic clearcoat are an option for an anti-skid effect.  The end result is more aggressive than a high build orange peel epoxy finish. This is a popular option for spaces with vehicular traffic.

GFC antiskid can be sprayed into specified topcoats for a non-abrasive and effective anti-skid surface.  This is our standard procedure for commercial kitchens and any installation near a pool.

Quartz Systems

Quartz Systems

EPFC offers decorative quartz epoxy flooring systems popular in commercial kitchens, bathrooms, and areas where extreme durability is required.  Quartz aggregate is offered in both fine and coarse sizes. Total floor thickness ranges from ¼” to ⅛”, which makes for a very high build decorative coating system.

  • National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) certified “High Traction”
  • Meets ADA, USDA, FDA, and OSHA standards
  • Thousands of color combinations available

PVA Systems

Polyvinyl acetate (PVA) flake systems are popular in commercial and industrial bathrooms, breakrooms, hallways, storage spaces, and service bays.  Full flake systems are also very popular in residential garages.

Varying densities broadcast into the epoxy color coat leads to medium, heavy, or full coverage of PVA media.

Full broadcast systems require thicker topcoats for proper surface texture, hence qualify as higher build.  Partial chip floors, which we consider to be among the most “underrated” options in the industry, are cost effective due to lower overall product cost.  Either way, we begin the installation with a moisture mitigating prime coat to assure surface adhesion.

ESD Flooring

ESD Flooring

Electro Static Dissipative systems are preferred  in cleanrooms, electronic assembly areas, AGV warehouses, and packaging plants.  ESD systems dissipate the static charge caused by the movement of equipment, people, and manufacturing equipment.

EPFC installs systems that have the ability to ground out static charges and prevent static events from occurring.  ESD coating systems are available with either 2 or 3 steps (coats), and offered with multiple topcoat options depending on need.

Total ESD protection, from primer to topcoat.

USDA Approved Floor Coatings

Food and beverage facilities require food grade epoxy (and urethane) systems that are durable, easy to clean, and impervious to moisture.

EPFC installs seamless floor coating systems that eliminate the need for grout!

Psudomonis Aeruginosa is bacteria most often found in the grout lines of more traditional flooring.  Over time, this bacteria produce organic acids that break up the grout, including popular upgraded epoxy grouts.  Moisture and bacteria live in these crevices, causing premature floor failures and a less than sanitary work environment.
